On 12th December 2011, this year’s Barnardo’s Christmas Album launched on iTunes worldwide, with all proceeds going to Barnardo’s Children’s Charity. The album has 19 original songs, by 19 different artists including Dave Mcpherson, B-Sydes and Elliot Morris.
Berry Street’s Luke Billing composed and produced a track featuring on the album for singer Jack Shaw. The song Midnight, went straight in at No.31 in the iTunes singer songwriter charts on Monday, sitting comfortably next to some of Ed Sheerhan’s recent releases.
Jack Shaw emphatically, and rather Geordilly pointed out “Luke is clearly a genius. If it wasn’t all going to charity we’d probably both be rich, which is a massive shame. I suppose w’re helping kids sort themselves out and stuff. Do they know it’s christmas time at all? Hopefully we’ll make sure at least a few more do.”
